Art Inspires Ikebana

My Pink Willamette Valley monotype was chosen for the inspiration of this beautiful Ikebana created by Jennifer Mitchell. There is an exhibition of several paired Rental Sales artworks with Ikebana artists from the Renka Ikebana School. Their resulting wonderful creations are on view with the artwork at the the Rental Sales Gallery May 16 and 17th. The reception is tonight May 16 from 4-7 pm. Hope to see you there!!!

My studio and gallery are in the heart of SE Portland near the corner of 26th and SE Clinton. I’ve had the space for more than 20 years, and it has been the best thing for me.  A  wonderful space with a storefront close to the best restaurants in town and the nicest neighbors an artist could have. I have a large Takach press 44 x 84 “ which I make my work.  You are always welcome to stop by- it’s best to make an appt so that I am there.  I work late most nights, and am also open First Fridays form 6-9 pm when I am in town.
